Hi everyone!

I am stuck with the following problem in RED

RodrigoSifon_0-1686772879403.png
the "Patricia Andrea" is this variable:

RodrigoSifon_1-1686772919110.png
and "Valdeavellano" the father's last name is:

RodrigoSifon_2-1686772983757.png

I want to join the first name (before the space between the first and middle names) with the paternal last name
I want to place only "Patricia Valdeavellano" in a text box for all cases
what is the correct formula to use?

I've searched everywhere and can't find a solution.

Thanks,

Rodrigo
From Chile !

    Hi @RodrigoSifon ,

    You need to do this:

    ThisItem.Nombres & " " & "ThisItem.ApellidoPaterno"

    Hope this helps

    I want only for expample
"Patricia Valdeavellano"  instead "Patricia Andrea Valdeavellano"

    I want to eliminate Andrea

    Hola Rodrigo:

    Puedes usar este codigo:

    Concatenate(
     Left(ThisItem.Nombres, Find(" ", ThisItem.Nombres)-1),
     " ",
     ThisItem.ApellidoPaterno
    )

    Hi Ethan,
I really appreciate that you are helping me,
Something happens that after putting the comma it doesn't let me put "Indexon" or anything else, for example a find...

    Hi @RodrigoSifon ,

I think your PowerApp is following ";" instead of ","

Do replace all commas with semi-colon

    Just PowerApps things 🙂
