Specific date on Date picker

Hi all,

I would like some help if possible.

I have a PowerApps form with a DatePicker and I need the input to be the month we're in or after.

An example: we're in July, which means the user can only choose dates from July onwards.

Is it possible?

Thanks!

    Hi

    There is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

    Refer this link : Solved: Datepicker to show current month dates ONLY - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

    Thanks!

    Hi @jessiefb,

    There is no way to do it but you can set a formula OnChange property of the Date Picker like this :

    If(Self.SelectedDate < Today() ,
    Notify("Create date can not be lesser than today",
    NotificationType.Error);
    Reset(Self)
    )

    Hope this will help you 🙂

    Hi @jessiefb,

    Have you solved your problem?

    Do you want to make the DatePicker select date only with current month or later?

    Yoy should compare the month directly, rather than date like @Fardy1 mentioned. If you want to select date not only in later month but in current month.

    If you want the user can only choose dates from the current month, please set the OnChange property as below:

    If(Month(Self.SelectedDate)<Month(Today()),Notify("Please select date from "&Text(Today(),"mmmm")&" onwards",NotificationType.Error))

    Hi Qi, It did work, thanks!

    But just to confirm: this will only give the user a notification message, but if they choose a date from June it will still submit the incorrect date? Thanks again!

    I got a solution mixing both suggestions:

    If(Month(Self.SelectedDate)<Month(Today()),Reset(Self))

    Thanks a lot for the help!!
