Attached Item in Power Apps Not Coming Over to Sharepoint List

I have a power app built for leave requests and want to add an attachment field for medical certificates etc, I've got the field and its connected to the list etc, however when i attach something the attachment does not populate in the attachments field of the SharePoint list.

Any ideas? is there a formula I'm missing?

Hi @CP-93,
Do you have a form to submit attachments to SharePoint list?
If so,
1. please check if the DataSource of your form is SharePoint list.
2. please set your update property as DataCardName.Attachments.
I did some test according to your description.
Do you attach files and click button to submit the form?
The formula of On Select property of button is:

SubmitForm(Form1)

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong.

Yes thats correct see below

the forumal on the submit request button is also SubmitForm(Form1) as you said, however the attachment goes nowhere.
