Powerapps - Updating a number field based on a dropdown but if edited then it should retain the edited value

I have a dropdown field  (DD1) with option Yes and No

Another number field (NF1) with default value as 1 (Parent.Default)

What formula should I use where, if DD1 is No update NF1 as 0.7 and for DD1 = yes, update NF1 as 1 and user has the option to edit NF1 and make it e.g. 0.6. The issue is when I save the form, and open it again, NF1 reverts back to 0.7 as e.g.

You should probably ask this on the Power Apps forum.

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/bd-p/PowerAppsForum1

Why do you need a default value for NF1? Could you update NF1 on an action of changing the DD1 option? Like if the DD1 is a radio button is blank, and the moment they select Yes or No, that action triggers updating the NF1 field.

I forget what it is called basing it on another action, I think it is the OnChange?
