Set dd/mm/yyyy format in HTML Code

I have an app which emails the user when the record is authorised, the current format appears as mm/dd/yyyy, it displays fine in powerapps but incorrect in the HTML.

My current code for that line is,

<b>Date Requested:</b> " & DataCardValue8_1.SelectedDate &" <br>

How do I set the default to display as dd/mm/yyyy
