Update Adaptive Cards based on User input

Hi,

Is it possible to update Adaptive Card message by using user response?

I'm making flow that contains "Post Adaptive Card and Wait for response" action in Teams connector, and would like to update message based on input text/choice item inside Adaptive Card within standard connector/action - like Approval action.

Did anyone achieve this??

    Hi @h-nagao ,

I have made a test on my side and why the Message field in this action on my side do not the same as yours?

    Hi Alice,

It is because my environment enable the experimental feature in Power Automate Setting 🙂

You can also turn it on from gear icon top-right on your screen.

    Thanks,

    Hiro

    Hi @h-nagao ,

I have made a test on my side and find there is no any way to update the Adaptive cards with the User response currently since we could only get the response after the "Post Adaptive Card and Wait for response" action has finished.

    Best Regards,

Does anyone know if there is an update to this? It's been almost 2 years, I'm hoping this is now possible but can't figure it out.

You can update AC using  “update an adaptive card in channel or chat” action.

Check out good video from Tomasz👇

Re: Update Adaptive Cards based on User input

thanks @h-nagao . but using  “update an adaptive card in channel or chat” action will not allow to update card for specific user chat, we can update only for Channel & Group chat, we don't have an option for 'chat with Flow bot' as like we have in "Post Adaptive Card and Wait for response" action.

I am using "Post Adaptive Card and Wait for response" action. Once user click on submit after entering in all the text fields, I want to display user's input on the same card along with default update message "Thanks for you response!".

Do have any option to achieve this in AC?
