Search API and Enter data into form

I am very new to API and want to practice. What I am trying to learn is how to call an API and use some of that data as default values for my form.

I want to be able to search by NCTID and get information for that study.

This is the api https://clinicaltrials.gov/api/v2/studies I am testing with.

This is what the power automate looks like

this is what part of the payload looks like

This is the error I am getting.

Can anyone help with this, also what do I need to do in power automate to be able to search and get results just for the nctID. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Hi

If you look at your Payload its an Object, it says it right there.

You have studies with a [ that means object. Cant use that. Need to figure out what you really need and grab that or convert what you have into an Array
