SharePoint Get items filter query

Hi, any help would be higly appreciated.

I have been trying to create a Time Off request approval flow.

I have two 2 sharepoint lists namely:

SPlist1. Leave Request (where all requests are created)

SPList2. Leave Credit (where employee name and leave credits are listed)

When an item is created in SP1,

I wanted to retrieve the leave credit of the requestor looking up to SPL2 (Employee Name column)

The value that I will get will be included in the approval email.

    Tried doing a work around.

I created a lookup column in SPL1, where it "lookup" SPL2 ID.

Created a workflow in SP Designer that will set this lookup column to the Employee Name ID in SPL2.

Resulting now that every created item in SPL1, Lookup column will EQUAL ID (from SPL2) of the matching requestor and employee.

Now, i have this. Do until the workflow i created is finished and get specific item

HOWEVER, have checked the flow details and the Get Items step seem to return all items from the SPL2.

    Please help!

    Hi MoniqueTrinidad,

According to your description, I created a flow likes below. When an item created in List4, get items in List3, if the title in List3 is equal to List4, send an approval email.

In the Body field of Send approval email action, I select the dynamic content number from Get items action.

Please try if it will work for your scenario and feel free reply if you need more help.

    Best regards,
    Mabel Mao
