Need help - submitting forms

Hi to you all,

I'm trying to develop a simple form that has two sections (e.g. Section A & B), when the user completes both sections and selects the 'submit' button, I want the data from section's A & B to to be 'captured' in the SharePoint list.

I'm a novice at this and have tried to use the submit function but not sure how to gather the data from both sections of the form?

Can I confirm, does your question relate to a Portal app, or are you currently building your forms in a canvas app?

Hi @PaulB3,

Are you asking about Power Apps Portal or about Power Apps? If you are asking about Portal it offers only document integration with SharePoint. To save data to SharePoint you would need to create an entity in Dataverse and then integrate it with SharePoint via Power Automate for example, but honestly, it would be an overkill.

If you are asking about PowerApp it is better to ask in the proper forum here.
