Power App for Teams Not Loading Dataverse Data Correctly After Recent Changes

I am currently facing a serious issue with a Power App for Teams that I created. I made an app, which I last modified and published in Teams on 8th May 2024. Between 8th May 2024 and today (28th May 2024), the app ran smoothly without any problems. After I started making some minor changes yesterday, such as fixing typos, and then published the app in Teams today, I encountered the problem that it looks like the data from the Dataverse is no longer loading correctly. To explain: I have two screens, each with a gallery that accesses a Dataverse table. The selected item from the gallery is usually displayed in a form. On both screens, the galleries and forms remain empty. In the preview, i.e., the Power Apps Editor, everything works fine. The data is present in the Dataverse table. Another screen where I display charts shows the correct amount of data in the published app.

I have already reverted the versions to that of 8th May 2024. This was initially successful as the data was displayed again. After making some minor changes and republishing, the same problem occurred. This went back and forth, and I tried various older versions. Interestingly, the error appears on some devices and not on others. I tested this with a Windows PC, MacBook, and iPad. Then, all of a sudden, it no longer works on devices where it previously worked. After many attempts, I finally wanted to revert to the version from 8th May 2024. Now, the problem persists even there. The error seems very sporadic and random. I have no idea where to start to fix this issue?

Addition: I have further experimented since the app is scheduled to launch next Monday. I went even further back and restored an older version. After restoring and publishing, everything initially worked well. Then, I changed exactly one label in a form, saved it, and published the app. The same problem occurred again: the data is not loaded, and the galleries remain empty. When I open the same updated app, which does not show the data in Teams, in MS Edge, it works perfectly there. I have observed this behavior several times now. With further updates, I suspect that the same problems will eventually occur in Edge as well. And as mentioned, every version always works perfectly in the editor preview.

Is anyone else currently facing similar issues? Is there an ongoing problem with Microsoft?

Solution: I have now resolved the issue after a lengthy troubleshooting process. I discovered that the problem was related to the interaction between the Modern TextInputCanvas and the value I used in a filter formula for the data source of my gallery. The default value of the TextInputCanvas is an empty string (""), but setting it to a string with a space (" ") made everything work as expected again. I also noticed that the version of Power Apps changed between May 8, 2024, and May 27, 2024. It was previously 3.24045.17 and is now 3.24051.23. This likely means that something internal changed in the modern TextInputCanvas, which led to this error.
