Filter gallery multiple columns from one text input

I am trying to filter a gallery with a text input that looks through multiple Coulumns. It all works well, except for the person value type. Source for my data is a sharepoint list. The gallery is set up to display several fields, with the person field formatted like this:

First(ThisItem.PersonData).DisplayName

PersonData is a Person/Group data column.

My gallery filter looks like this:

Filter( MySharepointList; NameFilter.Text in Title || NameFilter.Text in PersonData.DisplayName || NameFilter.Text in Year && StatusFilter.Selected.Value in Status.Value)

It filters everything except the PersonData. No errors are given. What could be the issue here?

    Hi @ErikKjellman ,

    I think the issue is in how the conditions are handled. Can you try:

    Filter(
     MySharepointList;
     NameFilter.Text in Title || NameFilter.Text in PersonData.DisplayName || NameFilter.Text in Year,
     StatusFilter.Selected.Value in Status.Value
    )

    Tried it but it did not change the outcome. The problem isn't with the other filters, only the person filter, as I have tested rigorously with each filter separately. Is there a way to cast the text input into a person type? Could that be the issue?

    Hi @ErikKjellman ,

    Can you please share an example of what is not working? In my tests everything works as I would expect it.

    This is unfiltered view, the coulmn 'Rapportansvarlig' is the same as PersonData, which is a Person data type.

    This is how it looks when I use the name of the person as a search string. If I would write 'E', it filters the 'Prosjektnavn' (Title) field without a hitch, or if I write '21' it filters the 'Undersøkelsesår' (Year) just fine.

    Could it have to do with the way our Person data is collected? I am part of a big university, and the list is our MS 365 contact/user list. I am not proficient in AD structure, nor am I sure the AD is the same as what MS 365 uses.
