Solution Deployment

Hi everyone, I'm ready to deploy a flow, however, I would like to know if when the user imports the solution to their environment, they'll be able to edit the solution flow. Is there a way of activating/deactivating this?

    Hi @cdlzs__

If you have it in a solution, then export it as a Managed Solution, and then no they cannot. Now let me clarify something that is important.

If someone wants to change it they can. How??? Well, if they go to change something that is marked NOT customizable and in a managed solution, it will create a Wedge solution (yeah I call it that) which sits on top of your solution.

Your solution wont change, but they are able to change and create their own "version". Again didn't change your solution, just created a layer on top of it.

    Hey Michael,

Thanks for replying; so this means that if I want the user to be able to change it, I just mark it as unmanaged right?

    Hi @cdlzs__

    A little on that.

    1. If you make it Unmanaged they can change everything (tables, flows, etc etc)

    2. If you only want some things you can set them as customizable, but that doesn't inherently impact flows, so I would go with #1 (imho)
