Hi, I've a model driven app with CDS built and packed in a solution. It took me some time to configure out the difference between Production / Sandbox Environment and Managed / Unmanaged Solution. But still, I'm so confused about having flows packed in a solution.
Issue 1 - "Invalid connection" errors occur whenever a newer version is imported successfully
It does recognize my existing connection. Why is it an "Invalid connection"? 🙄
To fix this, I have to open each action with such error and click the only listed existing connection once. It sounds simple but I have multiple flows in this solution and each flow has dozens of "Invalid connections". When I import the latest version to SIT, UAT or Production, I need to open the nested flows and click hundreds time... 😪 Zzzz... Is there a way to avoid such "Invalid connection" error please?
Issue 2 - Flows are not updated by default when a solution of newer version is imported.
Is "Flow" one of the components in a solution? Or is it a customization of a component? When I import a newer version of the solution, flows with in the solution are not updated until "overwrite customizations (not recommended)" is chosen. Is this a bug?
Issue 3 - Flow can be edited in a managed solution
It says "You cannot directly edit the components within a managed solution" and blocked the "Edit" option here. However, when I click into the flow, the "Edit" button at the top works fine. I can update the invalid connections (mentioned in Issue 1) and save it successfully. Is "Managed solution" not managing flows?
Thanks in advance for any suggestion / advice 😊
