Create CSV Table result with commas that I dont want there

Hello dear Community.

I have build a power automate flow to extract pdf attachments from a shared E-mail box and get the pdf data using AI builder Extract information from documents.

Everything works fine except the exported csv file that has commas in the cells which I want to get somehow rid of them.

My flow looks like this:

and the output file looks like this: I want to get rid of the commas in the cell at the beginning:
,MaterialNumber should be just MaterialNumber and so on.

Can anybody help me with this issue?

    Hi @Julien_base,

Inside your "Create CSV table" action you don't need to include a separator in your "Header" and "Value" so you can remove the semi-colons. The action will automatically insert commas as the default separator so you're ending up with double separators which is why the commas are appearing in your data.

Hi LukeMcG, thank you for your reply,

the problem is when I dont use the separators ; in the header and Value will not put the values in each cell but rather create only one cell with all the values. My regional settings have the separrator with ; in it. Europe zone.

Is there something else I can look into it?

@Julien_base Unfortunately there is no way to change the default separator used by the "Create CSV table" action and as @Chriddle has suggested, the best solution would be to specify the separator within the file. You can do this quite easily in your Flow by adding another compose stage and using an expression such as this:

    concat('sep=,',decodeUriComponent('%0D%0A'),body('Create_CSV_table'))

This expression appends sep=, plus a new line to the beginning of your CSV table and should allow Excel to interpret it correctly regardless of regional settings.

The last step would be to amend your "Create file" action to use the output from this compose action.
