Converting multiple columns of data into new items in SharePoint list with powerapps

Hi all,

There are a few threads here that are close to answering my problem, but thought it easiest to work on this from scratch. I believe this is probably basic, but I am failing to work out the solution:

I have a list that has repeated columns in a SPList that I want to convert to separate items in another list through Powerapps. The example is below:

Vessel1      Vessel2    Vessel3    Vessel4    (all columns contain a different vessel number)
   22              24             86            54

Now what I want is to create a new item per vessel column in another SPList:

Tank
22
24
86

54

At the moment when the vessels are created in the original list, it is done via a form. I am unable to change the structure of the original list or how the information is saved as I have adopted someone's work so I need to manipulate the information to suit my needs.

Thanks!

    I have an additional thought:
With regards to the form that submits the original data, is it possible to set the OnSelect property to also add a new entry into my list per datacard value?

So if I fill out the form with the four different vessel numbers, when I save and submit the form, it will create a new item in my SPList for each datacard that isn't blank (not all vessel fields have values)......

Hope either way of explaining that makes sense....

    Hi @BrendanZ1 ,

Yes, your needs can be implemented by ForAll function to make a loop save for each data card value.

    Here is code:

    ClearCollect(col,
    If(!IsBlank(DataCardValue1.Text),{Value:DataCardValue1.Text}),
    If(!IsBlank(DataCardValue2.Text),{Value:DataCardValue2.Text}),
    If(!IsBlank(DataCardValue3.Text),{Value:DataCardValue3.Text}),
    If(!IsBlank(DataCardValue4.Text),{Value:DataCardValue4.Text})
    );
    ForAll(col,Patch('SP list',Defaults('SP list'),{Tank:Value}))

    Hope this helps.

Thanks @v-siky-msft , I am hoping to test this out and report back within the next few days
