Contact associated to child populate also on subgrid of the parent

How can I create a relationship of an existing Contact to Assessments, if the user populates the Contact on the child Inspection Questions?  I don't want the user to have to add Bob to the Assessment table when he is associated with Question 1.

At this point, I'm not tracking the basics of where these relationships are being stored at w/in the Power Apps Model Driven Dataverse tables.

Contacts can be associated with either the overall assessment and/or an individual question.

    Hi @damian_green23 

     

    When we have 1:N relationships we can use what is called relationship mapping, where we can map the data from the parent table to the child table as long as they are of the same type.

     

    This allows that if the contact is in your parent table it can be in your Evaluation table.

     

    In case it is not in the evaluation table but only in the question table, and only in the first question. You will have to use either a Javascript to get it through WEP API, or using Power Automate you can also do it, but it would be an asynchronous method.
