I cannot get a button on a webpage

Dear all 

 

Could you please help on an error message associated with button on webpage

i can catch the following button by PAD but cannot execute it in the flow. 

This button is appear on the page dynamically and based on the input of an option on the page

    Hi @GUOGUO 

     

    As mentioned by @Highboy , we can't help you with the informaiton posted. If you're nto able to share the website, if you could copy teh details of the error and show us the actions, we may have been able to help with some suggestions.

     

    Without beign able to narrow down I can only think of the following:

    • Button is recognised as Ui element so we know PAD sees it which is great
    • If the error states that Ui element not found, could it be that you need to wait slightly or validate its showign before you interact with it? Ss you mentioned it is a dynamic button, so maybe you are trying to click it too quickly before validating it''s there?
    • Maybe it's there with slightly different variation? When it fails, go on edit selector > then press the down arrow next to 'New' then choose > Selector with recapture... that will allow you to compare the original time you 'spied' it to this version that fail and identify any anomalies
