Hi,
Just to get a better understanding, i am working on a central tracker to use amount 50+ persons. The old method used was a excel file that was messy. I am trying to figure out how i can show a count of entries by specific value (Example: Employee ID) the "detailscreen" to show an option to the left that counts all entries for that specific person.

Where yourDataSource is your connection
yourControl the control where you selected the name or id to be displayed.

yes @Anonymous i am making the assumption that you make a selection in a gallery or dropdown to select the item you wish to see.
I tried your formula, but it seems to break things.
Yes @rubin_boer when a selection is made and brings up that view. I would like to have an area that is shown in my screenshot in yellow have a count of all entries from the reference, which would be 'employee id'.
The yellow highlight is the count for all entries of the value highlighted in blue from the data source.
