I have a link that changes approximately every two weeks that needs to be posted to 5 separate Facebook Groups. How can I use Power Automate to automatically post the link when the link changes?

    Hi @leopold ,

Unfortunately, Power Automate doesn't currently have a built-in connector for directly posting to Facebook Groups due to Facebook's API limitations. However, there are a couple of workarounds you can explore to achieve your goal:

1.Schedule with Trigger: Set up a trigger in Power Automate Desktop to run the flow automatically. This trigger could be based on a schedule (every two weeks) or when a new file containing the updated link is detected.
2.Power Automate Desktop: This free tool allows automating desktop tasks. You can record yourself logging into Facebook, navigating to each group, and pasting the link.

Thank you for responding. I tried this:

2.Power Automate Desktop: This free tool allows automating desktop tasks. You can record yourself logging into Facebook, navigating to each group, and pasting the link.  It works except the issue I'm having is the link I have stored in a txt file is not being read. The link will change approximately every 2 weeks. Below is my flow. power automate FB group Flow.png

Thank you for responding. I restarted my laptop and tried with another txt file and it still does not read. However in the Flow variables section it reads what is stored in the txt file which is "this is test text" Not sure why it will not read when the flow is run.

It appears that your flow is functioning correctly. I assume that your text file contains the phrase "this is test text." Once the Power Automate Desktop flow reads your text file, the value should be stored in the 'filecontents' variable. This is the expected behavior. Could you please clarify what issue you are encountering?

The URL in the TXT file is what I would like pasted into the Facebook Group page. Pictures below explain the flow.

    Hi @leopold ,

If it is not reading the text from the Text file.Just try change the Encoding methods in the Read from text file action and try one by one.

I tried all the encoding options and all the Store Content as:

I also uninstalled and reinstalled Power Automate. With the same problem.
