FLOW does not always work sending to Planner

Hi All,

FLOW is very frustrating.....

I created a flow where it creates a new planner item, then updates the description of the planner item.

there is a column that allows multiple choices and the description is updated using this column. Sometimes it works and other times I get an error that Item can't be found.

It was working fine last week, but I wanted to run more test before opening it to my users and it failed.

If I only choose one item it seems to always work, but when it goes to concatinate it fails SOMETIMES. If it always failed I wouldn't mind as much 🙂

I tried to copy as much as I could...

Could you please share a bit more about your custom variable within your flow?

How do you concatenate multiple Choice values within your flow?

I have made a test on my side and don't have the issue that you mentioned. My flow's configuration as below:

The user @Miller1 has faced similar issue with you, please check the following thread:

I have provided a available workaround within above thread, you could consider take a try with the solution that I provided within above thread on your side and check if the issue is solved.

Hi Kris,
Now it seems that I am back to being inconsistant. I guess the real question is, why can't it find the planner ID?

Not sure what happened , but below is a copy of my concat. It looks similar to your yours but I don't have the 'apply to each' I added it to mine, but it blew up saying "Apply to each" is not valid. I removed it and the concat works fine. but it still couldn't find the task ID from planner to update the description. then I decided maybe I needed the _ like you have so I updated my Concat to ('Apply_to_each'), but that also blew up. removed it and viola!! it started to work, but I have no idea why, but then I figured I would try a third test and it failed. I did nothing to the flow, just chose a different line of business from the drop down.
can you show me the full code for your Concat?

Hi Kris,
Do you think this can be due t my custom form on the list? If so can you point me to a blog where i can figure out what I broke with my form?
I removed the form from the list and everything is now working.
