change the owner of the app

Hello

I need to change the owner of the app I originally created. Eventually also the owner of the flow 'PhotoHandlerSPO' the app is using need to be changed to the new owner.

The app name is 'Reklamationen'. The current owner is 'Hanspeter Zwicky'. The new owner need to be the admin account 'MSOL Admin'.

Share the app with the person who you want to be the admin and change its permission to can use to can edit.

Do you want to change the owner (original creator) of an app within PowerApps?

If you want to change the owner of an app within PowerApps, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently. The owner of an app is the one who created the PowerApps app, we could not change the owner of a PowerApps app currently.

Currently, if a user created a PowerApps app, he could share his app with other members of his Organization. He could assign Can use or Can edit permission of this app to other members of his Organization.

@v-xida-msft So how do you propose to do if a person stops working for the organisation and his/her account is to be deleted? What happens to the apps, flows and connections if an owner account gets deleted, or disabled the very least?

@vecerpa Nope, still no word from MS; they are not very good at answering in threads. (I had vacation for three weeks, hence the last reply from me)

It looks like one needs to open a support ticket in order to change the owner of a PowerApp. Alternatively, the Set-AdminPowerAppOwner cmdlet may be of use.
