flow to capture dates of status changes

I need a flow that captures the date of every status that gets selected.  I have 7 statuses and need to know the date they each get selected.  I'm having a really hard time finding something that shows me what I need and it actually works.

Hi Hemmert, please can you say a bit more about what you are trying to create? Are your statuses stored in Sharepoint or elsewhere? Is a 'status' a file or something else? Thanks, James

Hi James, I have a SharePoint list that has a choice field called Intake Status.  There are 5 values: New Request, Assigned, On Hold, Pending Completion & Completed.  I need to have a date stamp for when each of these values are populated.

Thanks for the additional information - where do you want the datestamps recorded, in the same list?

I would prefer them to be in the same list for reporting purposes.  I assumed that a date field would need to be added for each status?

    Hi Hemmert,

I haven't tested this but it looks like a reasonably straightforward Flow that would meet your needs. You might need to tweak it a little to meet your needs: Solved: Re: Update a cell with time when a share-point lis... - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

    I hope that helps.
