Not able to properly display Number value labels on X-axis Line chart

I have two columns(Day number vs Weight) both are Numbers, I wanted to display both of them on line chart. I am struggling a bit to display labels on x-axis, I am using collection as data source for this chart. I see labels on y-axis limited and displayed properly, but i am not able to limit labels on x-axis. Please help me with the solution.

Can you share a few values from your collection to get an idea as to how the values are spread out?

Do you mean that you could not display the Day number value property within the X-axis of your Line Chart control?

Could you please show more details about the Day number value within your collection?

Based on the screenshot that you mentioned, I think this issue is related to the amount of records in your collection. How many records existed in your collection?

As an fixed solution, please consider configure your canvas app as a Tablet Layout App firstly, then set the XLabelAngle property of the Line Chart control to following:

then your Day value would be displayed in 45 angle within the X-axis of your Line Chart control.

Please consider take a try with above solution, check if the issue is solved.

Hi,

I have around 700 records in the collection, please find below sample data. please let me know if there is a way to present this data using powerApps charts, we do not want to use Power BI for this case because we are getting data directly from API and gets updated by every call and we do not want to store this data in any other data source.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on the screenshot that you mentioned, I think your data source records is too large.

If you want to use Line Chart control (or other Chart controls) in PowerApps to achieve your needs, I afraid that it could not achieve your needs -- render it perfectly.

As an alternative solution, you could consider display your records using Power BI report and pin it to a specific dashboard. And then within your canvas app, you could use the "Power BI Tile" control to display your dashboard Tile visual.

@v-xida-msft I think @Anonymous clearly said he cannot or does not want to use Power BI.

Anyways, @Anonymous I will share a possible workaround that may work. Stay tuned.

You mean aggregation on Week/Month ? For now the requirement is day wise, week wise aggregation can be okay i guess, but Month wise aggregation is not recommended.
