Performance impact of having many variables

Hello,

I am in the process of building a pretty large app (now that I manage to skill myself up to the point where I could build an intranet to run on mobile devices).

I don't have all details worked out however I believe that I will end up with at least 30 screens (using galleries, forms, pdf viewer and possible video player).

Being well aware of repeated stuff everywhere, I set out to use variables to hold all the font, colours and so forth.

So my question is, is setting many variables in App.OnStart going to slow things down or is there no performance difference? Would it be worth using Concurrent in this case?

Thank you

    Hi @DancingCatx64 ,

I have large apps with all colours, fonts etc initiated in Variables at App OnStart. If anything, the screens seem to resolve quicker. Concurrent is always worthwhile unless you have interdependencies in the same set.

Awesome thank you, I only just started building it with a few screens that would be used as templates and then copied over (duplicate screen function).
