My PowerApp is connected to a sharepoint list that has three columns, pictures1, pictures2, and pictures3. I want the user to able to submit 5 pictures that are taken while they are in the app to each of these columns. (At the moment the columns are formatted as hyperlinks shown as pictures but that can change.) The default "Attatchments" card that shows up from sharepoint lists would be a perfect way to do this but I do not know if there is any way to recreate that. Does anyone know if that can be done or any other way to collect these images?
Thanks!
Hi @Nick11 :
Could you tell me:
There are 3 ways to upload pictures to SPlist:
1\Using flow
Using flow is an effective and commonly used method,here is a Video on the process.
2\converting the image into a binary format for storage
I've made a test for your reference:
My data source(List B):
Column (click to edit) Type
step1:Add an add picture control(AddMediaWithImage1)
step2:Add a button:
OnSelect:
Patch( 'List B', Defaults('List B'), /*add a new record*/ {Title:Text(Now()), PIC: Substitute(JSON(UploadedImage1.Image,JSONFormat.IncludeBinaryData),"""","") } )
step3:add a gallery(Used to display saved pictures)
Items:
'List B'
3\Using attachment
