Hi, does Power Apps has the ability to retrieve current date when the data source is changing ?
You mean the date when a record in the data source changed? Or the current date/time? If its current date/time, you can use the Now() function.

@PowerAddict the thing is, I need to change my apps data source, which is excel file from time to time. And I want to display the date when I change the excel file on my apps so that the users can know since when the data is being updated. Is there any way to do this ?
May I know why you would keep changing the excel data source in your app? You cannot do that from a published app so I am assuming you will open the app in the studio and then remove the data source and then add another one? Very curious to know the reason behind such a setup.
@PowerAddict It is because I have to download the excel file from my organization site from time to time, and basically, every time I download it, it will generate a new excel file with the updated data. So, I need to remove the current excel file in the apps and then upload a new excel file into the apps.
I am afraid I am not aware of any method that would do it automatically for you. It is always suggested to use excel in OneDrive rather than static/standalone excel.
Might be worthwhile to review the approach.
@PowerAddict The issue is the new updated data will be generate in a different excel file. Thus, I cannot use a dynamic excel file. However, thanks a lot for the response.
