App doesn't load completely in editor using new Edge Browser

Recently after a new Edge browser (Dev/Beta version) update, an App of mine doesn't load completely in the editor anymore. Components are wacky looking and my Run OnStart code doesn't really run no matter how many times I try to make it. I'm seeing this issue on both of my computers; one running the Dev Version, the other running the Beta Version

Here is what it looks like when it completely loads in Old Edge. Everything here is fine.

And this is what it looks like now in the Dev build of New Edge.

I saw this post, thought it was related, but after deleting my cache, the problem persists. Any ideas?

I have issues (not exactly the same as yours) with Edge frequently. I use Chrome and have not found any issues.

Hi @AndrewFitz ,

Please try to append ' --disable-features=RendererCodeIntegrity' to the Target of Edge beta to see if the issue is fixed.

@v-siky-msft - Many thanks for pointing out this setting, which I was unaware of.

Can you (or anyone else) provide more details about what this setting does?

What I found is below. What I'm not clear on is, what exactly are we exposing ourselves to if we disable this setting? Are there examples of exploits that take advantage of this setting - what's the worst that could happen?

The closest thing I could find is this unanswered question on Stackexchange.

Took another crack at trying to fix this again. Deleted browser cache, even cleaned up system files too. Rebooted my computer and.....

No fix.

Weird thing is, I was able to get my app to load on my wife's computer running the Dev build of Edge ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So on a hunch, I went back to my computer, and attempted to load up my app in the editor using a private window, and my hunch was right. It worked!

I think this issue is related to Edge Profiles, because that's the only factor I can account for that was different. Some sort of synced data in my Edge Profile is messing with PowerApps. Maybe it's a connector service permission that isn't loading completely, and therefore throwing things out of wack?

Hi @AndrewFitz

Do you have any extensions installed in your default Edge profile that you have not allowed for 'in-private' mode? Perhaps that might be the cause of the problem?

Thanks for that idea! I didn't consider extensions.

I found the culprit. AdBlock. Turned it off on both machines and it started loading correctly. Thank you @timl!

@AndrewFitz - Thanks for reporting that the AdBlock extension causes this problem. I'm sure this information will help someone else suffering from the same problem.
