Hi, I am currently following this tutorial: Save Multiple Records with a single click in Microsoft Power Apps (youtube.com)
I've created everything and configured it following the guide above, however when I select an item in one of my dropdowns it automatically resets to the first option. I'm pretty sure its got something to do with how the tutorial guides you to patch the data as when i remove the code the dropdown doesnt reset.
It has directed me to patch to the collection via OnChange, below is the code ive used:
Patch(
DataInput,
ThisItem,
{Title:Drp_Title.Selected.Value}
)
Because these are cascading Dropdowns which grab their data from another collection connected to a SP list the code in my items option is:
Distinct(
DDData,
Title
)
Can anybody see a problem with how these are set up?
