I am working on a multi stage invoice approval process. The flow of how it works is, a user will submit an invoice which gets automatically saved in a sharepoint document library and submits some fields in a form. This form is then reviewed by someone else. This person can either approve (forwards it to final person) the form or decline it (forward back to submitter to re-do). If the form is approved, the final person will process the information and submit the form to save in a database. Between each forwarding process each user part of this process will automatically receive emails.

I have been doing research of ways to do this but am a little unsure of how I should proceed. I have looked into Business Process Flows and Creating a Canvas App. Not sure which one of these would best suite my needs. Appreciate any insight.
