Patch updates to a different datasource

Hello,

 

I have to build an app containing a gallery and a form which are connected to datasource "Table1" (an excel file) and I have a button to patch the updates to a different datasource "List2" (a SharePoint list).

Basically I load the info from Table1 and want to save it to List2. Column schema from Table1 is in List2, but List2 has additional columns.

The Button is giving the error "The specified column x does not exist" but the column exists with same name and same type. OnSelect of the button is: Patch('Common Report PoC',Defaults('Common Report PoC'),varFormData,Form2.Updates)

 

I can't find a way to save the data loaded from excel to SP list. Please help

    What is there in varFormData?

    Try updating fields individually instead of using FormName.Updates function - 
    Patch('Common Report PoC', Defaults('Common Report PoC') , {Title: TextInput1.Text, Status: {Value: Dropdown1.Selected.Value} })

    The varFormData is the variable I use to open specific item from the gallery into the form.
