Hello,

I externally add new rows in an Excel online, however, there isn't powerapps ID for these new items. I looked up some posts and they suggest to refresh from Power Apps with the Excel closed but it doesn't work. Only way I have is to delete the connector and connect it again. I was thinking doing it with power automate but I don't think it's possible.

Is there an easier way to get it the powerapps ID ?

When you say "Power Apps ID", what are you referring to exactly? Excel does not automatically add IDs to rows.
I would also be remiss if I did not suggest you move from Excel to SharePoint as a data source.

You can try refreshing the data source to see if it helps. Additionally, you can consider removing the connection of your Excel file and then creating a new connection.

There's no automated way to set the__PowerApps_ID__ value for records that you add to Excel outside of Power Apps.

An alternative is to use the Excel Online Business connector rather than the OneDrive connector. With the former, you can choose to not to identify rows with __PowerApps_ID__. In the absence of this however, you will need to add some column that Power Apps can use to uniquely identify each row.
