Sharing attended RPA desktop flow with PAYG plan

Hi. I have created an attended RPA desktop flow in our Default environment. I need to share this flow with other users who will run it from their local install of Power Automate Desktop. I linked the Default environment to our Azure PAYG plan. The company also has Power Automate Free via its M365 subscription.

However, when I shared the flow with a colleague they were not able to see it under the 'shared with me' tab. They tried starting a Power Automate Premium trial and the flow then appeared. We were expecting to be able to share unlimited desktop flows from the cloud and then to pay $0.60 per flow run. Could someone please explain if we have misunderstood this? Thanks.

I have asked a similar question here, but I was completely ignored.

My guess is that the person you are sharing with will also need to be on a premium plan to be able to receive your shared flow.

Ah, it seems we can't use PAYG with a default environment. Has to be production or sandbox.

That makes sense, though perhaps it could be a bit more obvious in the instructions. I thought I'd successfully created a billing policy that linked the default environment with out PAYG sub. I can see now that I only created the policy with no linked environments.

We are currently able to share the RPA flow with everyone on the Premium trail. We'll swap to PAYG though as the $40/month option is not relevant for us.
