Hello,

I discovered Power Automate Desktop when I installed Windows 11 few weeks ago.

I started playing with it with a simple scenario being :

If browser is open, focus the browser and create a new tab, else create a new browser window.

I tried with many different browsers, in case this would be the cause, but every browser is slow.

Every action (except the if condition) takes at least 30 seconds (which would not make gain time).

My setup : Windows 11 build 22000.258, PAD version 2.13

Has anyone a solution for this slowness ?

At the bottom of the designer there is a setting for time delay between actions. Check to see what its set at for your PAD flow. That controls the time used to pause between each action.

Hello,
I've already seen this button while google this issue, it was set to 100ms and I've even decreased it to 1ms to see if might be proportional, no result. It still takes 30 seconds to execute one action

I haven't worked on PAD with Window's 11; however, I would make sure the PAD extension for Chrome is up to date. Being how new Windows 11 is, who knows what could have happened. I have seen other's have similar issues, and I believe they ultimately uninstalled and reinstalled.

One other solution was a competing program. They were able to find it in their processes and kill it, then PAD worked like normal, but I can't seem to find the post to know what that process was.

A small suggestion but might work, though the fact that it takes 30 seconds per button is weird;
at the minute "move mouse to image" is much, much faster than selecting a UI element directly, so just use that action and select the +new tab button.

press button action might just also be slow in general for accuracy sake, I use "Click on UI Element" generally so I think that might also be something to look into and check.
