One big App or Several Littles ?

I'm building an app (stock status of rental items ... kind of 🙂 ).

The structure of the app is 4 galleries each ones pointing to a dedicated edit,view and historic screen (16 screens).

At the very beginning a choice screen pointing to this 4 galleries.

I saw that we can launch other powerapps from a powerapps.

So I was wondering if that's better to have this 17 screens in a single app or One first app who call/launch an other app with the gallery that I want to manage.

I hope that my "speach" is understandable .... Thank you for your spent time reading me 😅

From a performance point of view, switching screens in one app is much faster than deep-linking across several apps and this number of screens is easily within the capabilities of an app, so I would recommend one app.

From my perspective, it basically depends on the control dependency among the screens if in case there is a control dependency among at least 4-5 screens at a time. Then this dependency chain can basically lead to more loading time & degrade application performance to an extent similar to it takes for Deep linking to several small canvas applications. But in case that's not the scenario with your screen dependency, i would suggest you to go for one single app instead of all small ones.

We usually know DAC (Divide and Conquer) is the way to handle complex apps but not here. Totally depends on control dependency, number of controls, number of delegable functions you are using 🙂
