Model Driven App - Custom Page - Where is the format property of the date picker

Hello,

when building a canvas app i have a property format for a date picker control.

In a model driven app i have to include some custom pages, which are designed just as canvas apps are done.

Anyway for multiple controls there are missing properties.

Does anyone now what the reasons is, or what i have to change to get access to all the properties?

Especially for the date picker control the format property is missing.

Every help is welcome

    Hi @SLMR,

Custom Pages are a new feature that supports a limited set of controls. Certain controls are based on the Fluent UI Library - similar to Canvas Apps For Teams controls. It could be that certain properties are missing compared to the classic Power Apps controls.

The DatePicker control will display the DateFormat depending on your browser settings. I also was not able to format the date with that particular control in Custom Pages. Should patching be the issue, you can simply format the date before patching.

A workaround you could use to visualize the correct date format is to put a label on top of the date of the DatePicker control.

    (1) Put the TextColor property of the DatePicker to Color.White

    (2) Add a Label control and place it over the DatePicker's text area (make sure the user can still click on the DatePicker icon)
    (3) Set the label's Text property to:

//Change "dd/mm/yyyy" to your preferred format
    Text(DatePickerName.Value, "dd/mm/yyyy")

If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution & give it a thumbs up.

    Thanks!

    Thanks a lot,

i did not try your solution till now, but i am sure it will work, as i used theses kinds of workaround already in Access and ASP. Net, although for other reasons.
