15I'm new to PowerApps. I'm following a tutorial to create a Power App using a SharePoint list as a data source.
The SharePoint list itself was created from an Excel file.
The Excel file has proper names. E.g. First Name, Age, Date of Birth, Major, etc.
The SharePoint list also gets created with the correct names.
However, the fields in Power Apps have names like field_1, field_2, field_3, etc. But when I type ThisItem., I get the proper names e.g. ThisItem.Major.
Does anyone understand what is going on here? Why is it that when I click on Fields, I get field_1 instead of Major? And what is ThisItem? Is it the control or a data field inside Power Apps?
