Hiding image icon in gallery displaying temporary colleciton, if no image present.

So I have an app that collects data to a collection, which is then displayed in a gallery.

When the user is ready to save the data, the collection is patched to the DB on the hit of a button.
There user has the option to add a single image to each registration. I want to hide the image icon if there is no image waiting to be patched.

I have tried the following on the "visible" property of the image:    !IsBlank(ThisItem.collImage) however, it changes nothing.

Any Ideas?

    Try

    If(!IsBlank(ThisItem.collImage),true,false)

    One other thing I can think of. See if you can change the fill properties of the blank image icon.

    @EriSto

    Help us with the values you are getting with ThisItem.collImage

    just add it in textbox you will be find out the issue. if there is no image and colimage is getting data from  image.image i mean image property of image it will be empty if no image is attached .

    anyway just use !IsBlank(galleryiamgecontrol.Image) this would hide the image when its empty

    Please click Accept as solution and Thumbs Up. if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

    Hi @developerAJ and thanks for the idea. When I added the text box showing the values for the image in the colelction, the following is listed in the entries with no image in the collection:

    appres://resources/SampleImage

    This is apparently why I see an image icon. Any idea on how I can hide these or get it to stop displaying the SampleImage?

    If(ThisItem.collImage = "appres://resources/SampleImage", false, true)
