Troubleshooting control display

I haven't been here for a while so I hope you're all well.

Now to my current challenge:

I have a total of four icon controls this app. Two of them are inside a gallery. They are email and link icons that start an email and copy the link to the current gallery item (with deep linking). The other two are in the header row of a details page for the chosen gallery item.

The OnSelect works correctly when the icons are visible.

The problem is that for some users they aren't visible and I can't for the life of me understand why.

All four controls have their Visible property set to True. So they should simply always be there even if the underlying code/function fails.

But I have at least one user (that's reported the problem) where the controls are simply not visible and I can't determine what could be causing this.

The app itself is correctly shared or they wouldn't even be able to see the page they're on. I have also ensured that they have appropriate rights to the underlying sharepoint list but that shouldn't affect the display of controls anyway.

So I'm stumped about what to even try next. If it's not permissions in the app or the underlying list, what is affecting the display of those icons?

    Hey @DCHammer

    A few thoughts:

    1. **Clearing Cache**: Instruct the user experiencing the issue to clear their browser's cache or the Power Apps cache on their device. For mobile users, they can try signing out, fully closing the app, and then signing back in.

    2. **App Versioning**: Ensure that all users are accessing the latest version of the app. Power Apps allows you to publish new versions of your app, and users might need to refresh or reopen the app to get the latest version. Communicate any updates or version changes to your users and ensure they know how to access the updated app.

    3. **Browser Compatibility**: Power Apps is optimized for use in certain browsers. Ensure that the users are accessing the app through recommended browsers, such as the latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, or Firefox.

    4. **Screen Size and Resolution**: If the icons are not visible on certain devices, it could be related to screen size or resolution affecting the app's layout. Test your app across different devices and screen sizes to ensure compatibility and visibility of all elements.

    5. **Conditional Visibility**: Double-check the Visible property of your icons. Even though you've set them to `True`, ensure there's no conditional logic tied to screen size, user permissions, or other factors that might inadvertently hide the icons for some users.

    6. **User Permissions and Licensing**: While you've checked permissions for the SharePoint list, also verify that all users have the necessary Power Apps licenses and permissions to use all features of the app. Sometimes, license or permission issues can lead to unexpected behavior.

    7. **App Sharing Settings**: Review the app's sharing settings to ensure that it has been shared correctly with all users. There might be settings or permissions at the app level, apart from the underlying SharePoint list, affecting visibility for some users.

    8. **Test with Another Account**: If possible, have the user experiencing issues log in on a device where the icons are visible for another user. This can help determine if the issue is account-specific or device-specific.

If after going through these steps the problem persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for more specialized assistance, or explore the Power Apps community forums for advice from other app creators who might have faced and solved similar issues.

Let me know if my answer helped solving your issue.

If it did please accept as solution and give it a thumbs up so we can help others in the community.

    Greetings

Thank you. I'm going to work through this list and let you know. I've looked at some of these already but definitely not all. Thanks for the guidance.
