Displaying Images on Mobile Devices

Hello everyone,

I have a SharePoint document library that stores up to 250 employee photos and a PowerApps that acccess these photos and displays them in a gallery. The PowerApps works perfectly on desktops but the images are blank on mobile devices. I have read that SharePoint does not support mobile access images stored on SharePoint and I have tried to use Flow to generate the image data uri but the size of the text created from the image data uri causes the document library to stop functioning and not load.

Is there an alternative approach to this? Storing the photos on OneDrive and referencing them in an excel sheet that is also stored on OneDrive?

    Hi @JMAFO ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to access the Image files stored in your SP library within PowerApps Mobile App?

Actually, it is an known issue that -- Pictures that need authentication on SharePoint are not supported yet within PowerApps.

Please check the alternative solution I mentioned within the following thread:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-PowerApps-Formerly/App-No-Longer-Displaying-SharePoint-Images/m-p/259839

In addition, the thumbnails of Images files in SP Library could also achieve your needs. Please check the following blog for more details:

    https://www.chakkaradeep.com/2018/11/16/displaying-thumbnails-from-a-sharepoint-library-in-powerapps/

Please consider take a try with above solution, then check if the issue is solved.

    Best regards,
