Hello,

I am having a small issue with the new print function in PowerApps that may be a bug and wnated to see if there may be a fix for it.

What i have noticed is that when i have a PowerApp embedded in a SharePoint page, the Print() function does not work. It does work when using direct links to the application.

Has anyone else experienced this and possibly know a fix or work around.

So far i haven't seen any fix for this issue and haven't had any response with others having this issue.
I am not sure if this issue is due to a SharePoint restriction or a bug with this functionality.

What i have found is that when i embed an application into a SharePoint page using the PowerApps webpart
If the application has a print option it does not work, clicking the button i have inside my application for Print does nothing.

If the application is loaded directly in a full screen window, then the print button inside the application does work and does allow printing.

Instead of using "Microsoft PowerApps" use "Embed" in SharePoint.

Replace the App Web link in this string and paste it into "Website address or embed code"

Had the same issue with the print functionality when using the "Microsoft PowerApps" option, swapping over to "Embed" fixed the issue.

Now the app is displayed correctly and the print functionality is working. Seems like the functionality is blocked when adding it as a "Microsoft PowerApp" which is a bit odd if intentional.

Thanks @FaerchDK . This solution works perfectly. The only issue I have is that when using it, the iFrame add a gray section at the bottom:
Any idea on how to remove this gray section?

Hello @confusedpowerad . Are you asking about the embedded iFrame, the Print() issue, or the gray section at the bottom?

This is what I did, and works just fine:

In a SharePoint Embed web part:
