Use Approvals to create new shift in MS shifts

Hello,

Our organization has ongoing professional development offerings and meetings that are not integrated into MS Shifts.  Our department is using MS Shifts to track employees hours for their regular work schedule, but if they want to sign up for a PD opportunity (which would count toward their paid work time), they submit an approval request and then I have to either manually create a matching shift for them in MS Shifts to keep their paid hours in one place, or I have to cross reference the Approvals feed AND MS Shifts when approving payroll. There has to be a better way, right? Is it possible to have a flow that would turn an approval into a shift on MS Shifts?
