Hello guys, am new to Powerapps,

We're trying to make (new form) to add a new task in our database in excel

in this form we have text insert, and drop lists and date picker,

But we want to add a toggle button that when user clicks on it will insert Important, and when he clicks off, it will insert not important

just like in the screen shot

Your support is highly appreciated.

First off...what is that background? That's awesome!

This is an Excel file, using One Drive for Business, correct? If so,

    • You'll need the corresponding Important column in the Excel file
    • You can then write into that column with your value (Important/Not Important, or even True/False)

The main problem, which you have seen, is that Excel doesn't allow you format a column as Boolean and is instead Text. You will have to do the conversion from your Boolean control (Toggle) into the Text column that your form is expecting. This means it won't (easily) be part of the form itself, but you can layer the control (Toggle) on top of the form. Then, in your field/data card, unlock it and set the Update property equal to Toggle.Value.

Or are you using the Excel for Business connector?

    Hi Team,

    Greetings!!

We have created a form in Portal app and in few fields we have added toggle button for Yes/No fields.

When we are saving and publishing, after browsing website it is not populating up as a toggle which we added in the backend, but it is coming up as a check box.

Can anyone tell why this is happening and how can we resolve this?

    Thanks!
