Copilot doesn't appear to be reading the full files I uploaded as knowledge. It will have the record count wrong among others things. It just doesn't appear to be able to answer basic questions regarding the excel doc. Any tip or tricks to get it more aware? Thx

Hello,

to answer questions like what's the count, sum and other questions related to data analysis, it's better to use M365 Copilot in Excel - it really does the job quite well and it's suited for that kind of scenarios. If you would like to create a custom agent for this purpose, I'd suggest you to switch to a SP list and use actions to perform tasks like counting the rows etc. GPT model is very bad at math due to its probabilistic nature - it can be overcomed by using the model only for presenting the output from an action. Just as an example: you use Get items action to get all items and then extract length. Then you tell an agent that it should generate a response based on this information.
