Power Automate Data Connections and Service Account

I have a question about service accounts and password expiration. If I have a service account that owns the flow and is used for any connections, what happens when the account password expires. Do I have to do anything with the flows after the account password is reset? Do the connections keep working after the password change or do I have to reconnect the connections?

Hi @kaswiere , in case of password change, the connections will be marked as broken. These connections can be fixed by going to the 'Connections' page. If there are any broken connections, you should receive a pop-up dialog soon after logging into the Power Automate site to fix those connections. Please check the section on 'Improvements to the connection experience' here.

is there any way to not stop this connection in case the password expires or is changed on th account? the organization has many service accounts and this manual process takes a lot of time to check

This is a big problem, its hard enough to get people to change so if it breaks for something like this they suddenly have more reasons to stop using it. I have all kinds of connections to check for SQL/Dataverse/Sharepoint and flows that break... Dataflows that stop working... its a mess... Re-authenticate each flow/connection is just time consuming and there is so much room for error. KISS please!!
