Multiple MS Forms to Single Excel Row

Hi all

I am trying to create a flow whereby 3 separate MS forms documents Populate a single excel document but on the same row.

This common theme among these is a reference number and the three forms are actions taken by 3 different teams so to track the lifecycle of the product. Every team will have around 5 columns they are responsible for adding to, however the intention is for all of these to be on the same row.

I am OK in creating a basic forms to excel flow, however the bit I am stuck with is that I need the second and third MS forms to bind themselves to their intended row dependent upon their reference number. Does that make sense?

Thanks in advance.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi @Lintafer,

I think this should be possible if you use the Get a row and Update a row actions from Excel Online (Business).

With the Get a row you should be able to locate the correct row via the Key Column and Key value options.

In the Update a row you can use that same key column and value options. And update whichever column you want. As long as it is a formatted table in your Excel file.

For example the second update from Form B

Hope this helps a bit 🙂

    Thanks

providing I have already created a flow to create the initial row would this still work when added as further steps?

I think I may have explained this badly.

step 1 is essentially a referral form with the reference number as one of the columns and a couple of other columns with different information. The other forms then add further information into other columns as the product progresses

    thanks again
