Work Flow not working

Hi All,

I have copied a work flow from an article on here but just at the end it doesn't work. It looks as if the "Initialize variable to hold value to be compared" isn't working and I am very new to this. Below is the flow. At the end I have shown the Run History.

The body expression is body('Parse_JSON')?['d']?['results'][1]['AdditionalComments']

    Hi @jbrines,

    It seems that you want to check if the additional comments changed, right?

    There is a new action release named get-changes-for-an-item-or-a-file-(properties-only), it will return information about columns that have changed within a given time window.

    add(int(triggerOutputs()?['body/{VersionNumber}']),-1)

    @v-litu-msft

    Where does it determine that Additional Comments has changed as I only want to send an email when that has changed?

    Where do I put

    add(int(triggerOutputs()?['body/{VersionNumber}']),-1)

    Re: Work Flow not working

    Hi @jbrines,

    It must have a dynamic content named Has column changed: Additional Comments. Put it into the condition action, and if it equals true, send Email, put the Send email into the Yes branch.

    The expression is the combination of the two parts, you could follow my screenshots or input it directly into the Sharepoint action:

    A couple of questions

    1. Is it possible to add a URL to the item that has been updated to an email?
    2. Is it possible to add who updated the item to an email?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @jbrines,

    Yes, you could use Get item action, it will return Link to item and Modified by Displayname and email, you could insert them into the Email.
