Depends on what you are trying to do, but let’s say you are in Excel. You can use File -> SaveAs elements and navigate that way, save it as the file you are waiting to create.
Some people are waiting for a file to download from the internet. So they just clicked Download and then they have a wait for file to be created action to prompt the next step once the file is available.
