Hi,

I wish to scrape a data with power automate for desktop

Have a collection page url.. and need to dive in to each product page to extract data. 

 

I got this far..

Launch browser. Entered URL

Extract data.. live helper opens. 

I can select the title.. extract the title. And than i get lost.

 

Should i than add a click element that clicks on the title. To enter the product page.. and than choose extract data? On the product page? 

What is the best approach here..

    Hi @Edwinmmmm ,

     

    Here's a working example I posted on another question.  Essentially, I think the step you need to review is the extract data from a webpage action.

     

    Let's walk through this flow:

     

    In this example, the requestor wanted to extract these datapoints from all 493+ webpages on a website.  By the way, I'm sharing the code so you can try this one yourself and have a working example too!

     

    So the request was, I need to scrape all 8 datapoints from the entire website (and write to excel).

    Step #8 extracts the entire html table and stores the extracted data in a datatable.  That's going to create a datatable of these columns starting in [0][0], then the next column of the first row in [0][1], etc, etc., all the way to [0][7] for my first row of data.  Datatables start with [0] not [1].

    The code for you to see this working example and try for yourself is attached.  Copy paste into a blank desktop flow.
