Editing Data Connections - no longer opens on a new tab

Hi:

When I edit a PowerApp, and need to look at a data connection, I am no longer taken to a new tab, but must either cancel the move or face loss of my editing session on the PowerApp.

 

The authoring version I have here is 3.22013.7.


Why has this change been made, and is there a work-around to allow the old behaviour (of displaying a new tab to contain my data connection view)?

    Hi @PowerunAppy 

     

    I have tested the app with the version and "Edit Data" does open the new tab. It works fine.

    You can go back to the previous version (Which recommended version too) and use it.

     

    • Open the App
    • Go to File
    • Click "Settings"
    • Click the "Support" tab
    • Select the previous version (Recommended)
    • Click "Reload + Apply version"

    The current version 3.22014.14 behaves as expected. When I select the Edit Data item from the property (...) menu, I get a new tab with the list I want to review in it.
