Bug in power apps - forms in a sharepoint list

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with a form I built for a sharepoint list using Power Apps.

The form works fine to create my entries, but when I try to click on the entry name to open the form again to modify it, it does not show this entry information, but the one from the first entry I created in this sharepoint list.

I have another list using a similar form that works fine, so I'm really not sure what is happening there...

In the screen capture below, I tried to click on the entry "optimisation de l'approvisionnement", but the entry "GAM - gestion des assets mobiliers" opened instead of the one I wanted to modify. And if I try another one, it is always this one that opens.

Thanks for you help !

    Hi @Drrickryp , thanks for your answer.

    I am not sure what you are reffering to, is this answering your request :

    " If(IsBlank(SharePointIntegration.Selected) || IsEmpty(SharePointIntegration.Selected);First([@PROJETS]);SharePointIntegration.Selected "

    @jomnr

    Try

    Coalesce(SharePointIntegration.Selected,
     First(@PROJETS,SharePointIntegration.Selected)
    )

    Hi @Drrickryp , Thanks for the formula, but I get an error message : "a operator is expected" in the formula. Not sure why given the functions you suggested...

    @jomnr

    You may need to replace the “,” with “;”. Depends on the country you are in.

    @Drrickryp Yes thanks, I did do that before, but it was not working. I think the issue is with the numbers of argument in the first function. If I used this formula to reduce the number of argument and so the error is not prompting anymore, but it still do the same in sharepoint. I might have to delete the custom form and start over, since maybe the issue comes from the fact that I download the original form from another list and uploaded it in this one.

    Coalesce(SharePointIntegration.Selected;First([@PROJETS]))

    Hi @jomnr ,

    The initial settings for the Item property of the form look pretty standard, so I don't think the issue is there. This is an example of a custom form in default state:

    Can you please share the Default properties of the 'Nom du Projet' Datacard and DataCardValue?

    Hi @BCBuizer ,

    The "Title" datacard defaut property is ThisItem.Title,

    The one for its DatacardValue is Parent.Default.

    Thanks,

    Joseph.

    HI @jomnr ,

    That looks fine as well...

    Can you, for troublshooting reasons, add a temporary label with SharePointIntegration.Selected.Title as the Text property? This should show if that reference is working properly or not. Now it seems that is not, which is why always the first item in the list gets displayed.

    Hi @BCBuizer ,

    I just did so, and the label remains empty when I open a item.

    I also noticed that when I open the form in power apps to edit it, all fields are empty. Usually, when I do so on other forms, I see the field values of one exemple of the list.

    Joseph.
